As a hair stylist and colorist
with over thirty years experience, London-born John-Norman
Tuck loves to paint masterpieces with his clients’ hair.
Believing in individualism, John-Norman works with each
client first to listen to their needs and then to discuss
what he thinks might best fulfill their expectations. He
then uses his mirror as an easel to perfect his creations.
Considering himself visual, John-Norman sometimes sees a
client and immediately knows what to do. You could easily
say he inherited his creativity from his mother’s family.
“My Grandmother was a German visual artist and my mother a
professional window artist,” John-Norman recalls.
John-Norman has been creating individualized hairstyles at
Diane K for over three and a half years. Before arriving in
Sarasota, he owned his own salon in the LaCanada region
outside of Pasadena, California. He studied with well-know
European stylists in Beverly Hills.
“I enjoy being downtown at Diane K and meeting the needs of
our growing city,” John-Norman shares. He and his wife,
Marcia, enjoy the friendliness and the culture of our
Florida west coast.
