Native Sarasotan Mamie Katsarelas has worked as a
hairstylist in Sarasota for twenty-five years – she
truly understands how to make a client’s hair work with the
Gulf Coast weather and lifestyle. Her goal is for every
client to leave her chair looking their utmost best, with a
style that is both modern and timeless.
Mamie has a real eye and passion for color – she loves to
assess the eye color and skin tone of each client to
determine the combination of color, highlights and haircut
that will best compliment the client’s natural beauty. To
keep her skills fresh, Mamie continually attends classes and
academies all over the country to learn the latest cutting
and coloring techniques and trends, including: Aveda,
Clairol, Schwarzkopf, Renbow, Paul Mitchell, Beth Minardi
and Redken. Mamie’s prefers to use Redken products due to
that company’s dedication to education and its wide range of
products.
